The problem every clinic owner in LA has

Someone in Downey finally decides to deal with the pain in their back molar. They open Google. They type "dentist near me". They get 20 results. They look at each one for 8 seconds. They decide based on:

  1. Does the site load before I lose patience? (About 60% don't on a slow phone.)
  2. Can I see the treatments listed clearly? (About 50% hide prices entirely.)
  3. Can I book a consultation without calling? (About 30% have online booking.)
  4. Is this bilingual? (About 10% in LA actually are.)

Four filters. Each one eliminates another chunk of the market. If your clinic passes all four, you're competing against two or three practices in the whole zip code — not twenty.

That's what this is. A clinic site that passes the filters and signals to Google that you're a real medical business with the markup to prove it.

What a clinic site needs

Treatment pages — one per service

Not a dropdown. Dedicated pages for each major service (Invisalign, crowns, whitening, root canal — or for a wellness clinic: facials, IV therapy, PRP, Botox, dermaplaning). Each ranks on its own in Google.

HIPAA-aware booking

Direct integration with Aesthetic Record, Weave, Dentrix, or NexHealth. No patient info stored on the website itself. We know the compliance line.

Before/after gallery with disclaimers

Legally reviewed consent language, patient privacy respected, no misleading claims. Required in CA for aesthetic providers.

Bilingual EN/ES

In LA, bilingual is a competitive moat for medical practices. 50% of Angelenos speak Spanish at home.

Reviews & trust signals

Google reviews pulled live. BBB badge if applicable. Dentist license number. Insurance accepted list. CareCredit badge if offered.

MedicalBusiness schema

Schema.org MedicalBusiness or Dentist markup so Google treats you as a verified medical provider, not a random business.

Real client: CarpenDiem Wellness + Aesthetics

Problem: Dr. Carpen was opening a wellness and aesthetics practice (DTLA + OC) with full concierge model — IV therapy, hormone optimization, aesthetic treatments. Needed a site that felt as premium as the practice, with Aesthetic Record integration, bilingual service, and the medical schema markup to not look like a med spa pretending.

What we built: Multi-page bilingual site, individual treatment landing pages (IV therapy, Botox, dermal fillers, PRP, hormone pellets, concierge membership), Aesthetic Record booking widget integrated, HIPAA-aware intake form, MedicalBusiness + MedicalClinic schema, llms.txt for AI discoverability, Google Business Profile tuned, PageSpeed 90+.

Scope: Enterprise package. Launched in 21 business days.

How it works

  1. Day 1 — Kickoff: You send treatments offered, pricing policy (publish or quote-only), insurance accepted, your current booking platform, bio and license info.
  2. Days 2-4 — Design + build. Treatment pages built one by one.
  3. Day 5-7 — Booking integration + compliance review: Aesthetic Record, Weave, Dentrix, NexHealth. We test real bookings. We review every page for CA aesthetic/dental advertising compliance.
  4. Final — Launch with Google Business tune-up and MedicalBusiness schema live.

Timelines for medical: Pro Business 10-14 days, Deluxe 18-25 days, Enterprise 25-30 days (CarpenDiem was 21).

Pricing for clinics

Clinics are the higher-ticket end of our book. Realistically, we recommend Deluxe ($3,497) as the floor for a real clinic site — booking integration and HIPAA-aware forms don't fit cleanly in a $797 build.

Frequently asked

How do you handle HIPAA on the site?

Short answer: patient data doesn't live on the website. Intake forms post directly to a HIPAA-compliant platform (Aesthetic Record, NexHealth, Jane, Dentrix) using their SDK or secure form embed. The site itself stores no PHI. BAAs are between you and the platform — we don't touch patient data.

Can you integrate with Aesthetic Record?

Yes. We've done it (CarpenDiem). Also NexHealth, Weave, Dentrix Ascend, Jane, Zenoti, Vagaro Pro, Mindbody. If you're on a different system, send us the name and we'll check.

Do I need to show prices for aesthetic treatments?

You don't have to, and about 60% of CA aesthetic clinics don't. But publishing a price range (e.g., "Botox from $12/unit, dermal fillers from $650/syringe") typically increases qualified lead quality — the clients who contact you have already filtered themselves by budget.

What about before/after photos — legal risk?

CA has specific rules on aesthetic advertising (Business & Professions Code § 651 and FTC guidelines). We display before/afters with: patient consent on file, no retouching claims, "individual results may vary" disclaimer, and labeled timeframe. The legal review is included in Deluxe and up.

Can the site be fully bilingual?

Yes. Bilingual EN/ES is included in Pro Business and up. Native Spanish from human translation. Patient-facing medical copy is written specifically for Spanish-dominant readers, not Google-Translated.
