The problem every shop owner in LA has
Picture it: a driver on the 405 just heard a grinding sound from the front brakes. They pull into a Shell. They type "mechanic near me" into Google. Three results show up:
- A chain shop (Midas, Pep Boys) that will charge $800 for pads.
- A big shop with 400 reviews.
- Nothing in Spanish, nothing from a mechanic who's been in that neighborhood for 20 years.
And your shop — the one that would've fixed it for $350 same day — doesn't show up at all. Not because you're not good. Because you don't have a website Google can trust. Google needs a site + a verified Google Business Profile + schema markup telling it "we fix cars in this zip code".
Give it that, and in 2-3 months you're in the top three results. That's what this is.
What a shop site needs
Services page listing every job
Brakes, oil change, transmission, A/C, smog, electrical, suspension, body work. In HTML text — not an image — so Google can read it.
Hours + address + map
Clear. Mobile-formatted. One-tap calling. One-tap directions. If you're closed Sunday, say it.
Google Business Profile tune-up
Categories (Auto Repair Shop + sub-categories), service area, 20+ photos, Q&A seeded, posting template.
Bilingual EN/ES
Half of LA's working-class driver audience is Spanish-dominant. Your Yelp competitor isn't bilingual. You can be.
Quote request form
Vehicle, year, problem description, photos — straight to your phone. Not a 10-field monster.
Trust badges
ASE certifications, BAR (CA Bureau of Automotive Repair) license number, years in business. Right on the home page.
Real client: Taller Don Juan — San Fernando Valley
Problem: Full-service mechanic in the San Fernando Valley, 20+ years in the community, zero online presence beyond a Facebook page. Didn't know HTML. Clients who moved out of the neighborhood couldn't find them. New clients who searched "taller cerca de mí" or "mecánico Pacoima" never saw them.
What we built: Bilingual one-page landing with full services list (en español e inglés), ASE and BAR trust badges, embedded Google Map, click-to-call phone number as the main CTA, hours grid, quote request form via WhatsApp. Google Business Profile cleaned up with proper categories, services, and 25 fresh photos.
Result reported by the owner: site live in 10 days. Today Taller Don Juan appears #1 in Google for "taller cerca de mí" in his zip code.
How it works
- Day 1 — Kickoff: You send services you offer, hours, 10 shop photos, logo (if you have one — we can draft one if not), ASE/BAR info.
- Day 2-3 — Design + build.
- Day 4 — Google Business: We claim or clean up your GBP. This is the single highest-leverage move for "near me" searches.
- Day 5 — Launch.
Pricing for auto repair
Most independent shops land on Essential ($797) or Pro Business ($1,997). A one-page landing with services + hours + map + quote form + Google Business tune-up is usually enough to start outranking the Yelp top result in a specific zip code.
- Essential — $797: One-page site, services, hours, map, quote form, bilingual (toggle on same page). What Taller Don Juan got.
- Pro Business — $1,997: Multi-page (Home, Services, About, Gallery, Contact), with separate pages for high-value services (brakes, transmission) so each ranks on its own.
- Deluxe — $3,497: Everything plus booking integration (Shopmonkey, Shop-Ware), customer portal for appointment status.
- Enterprise — $7,997: For multi-bay shops. Full launch with 90 days of Google Ads targeting "mechanic near me" in your service radius.

Frequently asked
I don't know HTML. Who maintains the site?
You don't need to touch it. We launch and hand you a short admin panel for prices and photos. For bigger changes we're a text away ($97/month maintenance plan or one-off hourly).
How do people find my shop on Google?
Two things: (1) your Google Business Profile, which we set up and optimize; (2) your website's schema markup and local SEO, which we hand-code. In 60-90 days you should start showing up in the "map pack" (top 3 local results) for your main services in your zip code.
What's the difference vs just having a Facebook page?
Facebook doesn't rank in Google "near me" searches. Google can't index your prices or services from a Facebook post. And when a customer wants directions, Facebook sends them through its own app instead of straight to Google Maps. A website + Google Business Profile is where the organic traffic lives.
Can I show my ASE / BAR license number?
Yes — and you should. Trust badges go on the hero section. California drivers specifically check for BAR license number before trusting a shop they haven't been to.
Can I offer quotes online?
Yes. Simple form: year, make, model, service needed, optional photo upload. It lands as a text message or WhatsApp on your phone. You reply when you're not under a car.
