Pricing & Payment
How much does a website cost at TopWebLA?
Four flat packages: Essential $797 (1 landing page), Pro Business $1,997 (up to 5 pages + bilingual), Deluxe $3,497 (booking or shop), Enterprise $7,997 (full launch with brand + 90-day ads). One-time payment, no monthly retainer required. Full breakdown on /pricing.
What's included at each tier?
Essential: 1 landing, mobile, contact form, hosting+domain year 1, basic SEO. Pro: adds up to 5 pages, brand palette, bilingual, Google Business Profile, local SEO. Deluxe: adds online booking OR shop, Stripe/PayPal, automated emails. Enterprise: adds brand kit, 90-day Google Ads, 4 SEO posts, 3 months priority support.
Are payment plans available?
Standard is 50% at kickoff and 50% at launch. For Pro and up we offer 3-pay (33/33/33), and for Enterprise 4-pay. Zelle, bank transfer, Venmo or Stripe. No credit check, no interest.
Is there a rush fee?
Yes, +30% of package price for roughly half the normal timeline. Rarely necessary — standard delivery is already faster than any LA agency quote.
What's the refund policy?
If you don't like the mockup, we refund the 50% kickoff minus a $200 discovery fee. After mockup approval and build start, completed work is not refundable. We've never had to use this clause.
Timeline & Process
Is 5-day delivery real?
Yes for Essential, assuming you send logo, photos, phone, hours and service list on Day 1 and respond to the mockup within 24 hours. If content is missing we charge $100/page for copywriting. Pro takes 10–14 days, Deluxe 18–25, Enterprise 25–30. Not a marketing promise, a scoped process.
What do you need from me to start?
Logo (any format), 5–15 photos (phone photos are fine), business name, phone, address, hours, list of services, 2–3 competitor sites you like, and the 50% deposit. We can supplement anything missing with stock photos and copywriting.
How many revision rounds?
Two full rounds on the design mockup. First round addresses feedback on the initial direction; second refines details. More rounds are available at $97/hr; most clients never need them.
How does the approval process work?
We send a static mockup after Day 2. You approve by email or WhatsApp and we start the build. Nothing goes live without your explicit "ship it".
What You'll Own
What happens with hosting after year 1?
Year 1 of hosting and the .com domain is included. From year 2: either self-manage for $15–30/month total (Vercel free tier + domain renewal + any traffic overage), or stay on our maintenance plan at $97/month which includes hosting, backups, security, and up to 2 hours of changes per month.
Do I own the domain?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name from Day 1 (we use Porkbun or Cloudflare registrar depending on your preference). You can transfer it to any registrar at any time without our involvement.
Do I own the source code?
Yes. All HTML, CSS, images and config files are handed off at launch — either as a GitHub repo (preferred) or a zip. You can hand it to any other developer at any time.
Can I move the site later to Netlify or another host?
Yes. The site is a static build: pure HTML/CSS/JS, no WordPress, no Wix, no proprietary CMS. It runs on Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, GitHub Pages, S3+CloudFront, or your own server. No lock-in.
Bilingual & SEO
Do you translate automatically?
No. All Spanish on sites we build is written or reviewed by a native speaker. Google Translate reads like Google Translate; your Latino customers can tell within one paragraph. Human bilingual translation is included from Pro and up.
Does Spanish SEO actually have value?
Yes, especially in LA, Houston, Miami, Phoenix and Las Vegas. "Diseño web" plus a city has thousands of monthly searches with almost no competition — a bigger opportunity than English for most Latino small-business verticals. Our research says the Spanish side of a bilingual site often outperforms the English side on local searches.
How is hreflang handled?
Correctly, which is where most agencies fail. Every bilingual page gets reciprocal en-US + es-US + x-default declarations, and both sides point back to each other. If hreflang isn't reciprocal, Google ignores the whole thing — a surprisingly common mistake we fix for inherited sites.
Is Google Business Profile setup included?
Full setup is included in Pro and up: categories, services, posts template, Q&A seeded, hours, photos, review request flow. In Essential it's an add-on at $197.
Technical decisions
WordPress or custom-coded? Why?
Custom-coded HTML/CSS. Reason: hand-coded static sites load 3–4x faster than WordPress on mobile, score higher on Google PageSpeed, have essentially no attack surface, and don't require a monthly SaaS tax. The tradeoff: you can't log in to a WYSIWYG editor to add a blog post yourself. For most small businesses, that's a feature, not a bug.
Is the site mobile-first?
Yes. We design the phone layout first and expand up to desktop. 70–90% of our clients' traffic comes from phones; building for the phone is non-negotiable.
What PageSpeed score do you aim for?
90+ on mobile, 95+ on desktop. We test with Google PageSpeed Insights before launch and don't ship below that bar. Reference: most WordPress sites built with page builders score 50–70.
How is security handled?
Static sites have attack surface close to zero compared to WordPress — no database, no admin login, no plugin vulnerabilities. SSL via Let's Encrypt renews automatically. Our maintenance plan adds DNS-level DDoS protection via Cloudflare for sites that need it.
